Welcome to Bright Side Goldens!!

We are the Bright Family! Golden Retriever breeders of healthy, beautiful Golden Retriever puppies!

We live in North Salt Lake Utah with our 4 kids and our many fur babies! We were raised in Massachusetts before getting married and moving to Utah to start a family! Talia grew up breeding, showing and raising beautiful champion line Golden Retrievers. Goldens are what she knows best! She was just 7 years old the first time she helped deliver a litter of puppies!

We pride ourselves on the health of our beautiful puppies! All our litters are born from fully health tested parents with CHIC certification and full EMBARK DNA testing.

We specialize in field bred Goldens with stunning red coats. Our pups make wonderful family companions and service dogs as well as great hiking buddies and top notch athletes.

All of our puppies are born in our home and receive love and socialization from day one! They each recieve ENS (early neurologic stimulation), as well as temperament testing!

We don't just want to breed Golden Retrievers, we want to breed THE BEST Golden Retrievers!

FAQ's

What health testing do we do on our dams and sires?

We run genetic EMBARK panels for all breed related genetic diseases and more. Our dogs are taken to specialists for their Orthopedic Foundation for Animals testing and all receive their CHIC certification. These are not a simple vet visit! These tests go above and beyond the normal evaluations done, to include an in-depth testing with different specialists at each evaluation. They must receive their breed specific certifications before being bred.

Do we offer shipping?

We do not believe dogs, especially puppies should ever be shipped in the cargo section of a plane. Often animals under the plane will overheat and become quite ill. However, we have a wonderful flight manny that we work with that will deliver your new baby the right way! They take precious care of your puppy and never allow their paws to touch the ground at the airports or anywhere along their travels. This keeps them away from unnecessary illnesses. They tend to their needs giving food, water, safety, and love the entire trip. They travel all over the United States. We will also try our best to accommodate travel outside the United States.

Where are our puppies raised?

All of our puppies are raised in our home with our family. They receive LOTS of love, attention, social training, and exposure to all types of situations through age-appropriate stimulation. By the time they come home to you they are accustom to other dogs, cats, children young and old, men and women!

If I can no longer care for the puppy/dog, will you take it back?

Yes, we not only will take the puppy back but it’s written in our contract that if there is any reason you need to re-home the puppy/dog you must return the dog to us and no one else. Part of being a responsible breeder means never allowing any of our dogs to be surrendered to a shelter. We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen in life and sometimes families can no longer take care of their dog. We won’t shame or judge you if you feel you need to return the dog for personal reasons. Please see our contract for more additional information.

What is your reservation/waitlist procedure?

Once you have filled out our Puppy Application and sent over your deposit, your place in line will be held. You will be contacted when we have a pregnant dam when you are in the top 8 of the list.You will have the option to pass to the next litter or secure your pick position in that litter. It is possible to be contacted when you are 9, 10, 11 and so on depending on the size of the litter at birth! All deposits are non-refundable.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle. We will accept check although check must clear before place is held or puppy has been taken home.

Do you require spay/neuter?

Yes. We have a very detailed Puppy Purchase Agreement contract stating they must be fixed. Breeding rights are occasionally offered through an interview and application process but not guaranteed. Please reach out via email for breeding right inquires.

If I am willing to pay does that automatically mean I will get a puppy?

No. These pups are our babies. We want them going to the best possible homes! If for any reason we feel like our pups aren't the right fit for your family we will not accept a deposit from you.
